St Thomas of Canterbury is the Church of England parish church for Brentwood, Essex, in the Diocese of Chelmsford. St Thomas' is at the heart of the community of Brentwood today as it has been since the 13th Century.

The Church and Church Centre café are open most days from 9am to 3pm. One of the ministry team is usually available to talk to.

We place great importance on eucharist-centred worship and on teaching the faith of the church as it has been handed on from each generation to the next. Our principal Sunday service is the Parish Mass at 10.00 am and there is a Mass each day during the week (click here for regular service times).

Rooted in prayer, in scripture and in the catholic tradition of the Church of England, we are called in faith by our Lord Jesus Christ to proclaim his gospel message in word and sacrament and through dignified liturgy and music. We aim to nurture and support each other in our faith and to offer pastoral help to those in need. We aim to make our church a place of welcome to all and a space for prayer and reflection.
