Youth Group
St Thomas' has an active Youth Group which meets on Friday evenings during school term-time from 8.00 (usually), for a varied program of activities, talks and visits. The Youth Group is intended for young people of at least secondary school age.
Since 2005 the group has had an annual residential trip combining fun activities with worship and discussions. In September 2007 we returned to St Mark's College, Audley End, for a fun-packed weekend. This year we are encouraging young people to join in with the Parish Pilgrimage to Walsingham (10th-12th October) and in August 2009 we hope to take a group to the Walsingham Youth Pilgrimage.
The Group has raised money for several good causes including Little Haven's Childrens' Hospice (a fundraising concert), BBC Children in Need and Comic Relief (putting on a meal and entertainment for the parish).
